The Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, ‎Mr. Olanrewaju Onadeko is to appear before the Senate Joint Committees on Judiciary and Tertiary Education over constant increment in tuition at the institution. This is coming on the heels of a motion sponsored by Senator Shehu Sani, the lawmaker representing Kaduna North Senatorial District. According to Sani, "In response to the concerns of Law students from ABU and from my senatorial district,I have today raised a motion on the incessant increase of tuition fees for students in Law schools.A resolution to summon the DG of the schools and to demand FG increased funding for the schools is adopted. The Nigerian Law School is becoming unaffordable to the children of downtrodden Nigerian masses due outrageous tuition fee of about N295,250.00 for central registration and N20,000 as other charges levied on prospective students, excluding a laptop computer, which each student must possess.”
