Let me start by saying that the points i will be raising in this piece are not essentially absolutes. I agree there may be a few exceptions here and there but generally speaking, they hold true.

The amazing thing however, is a vast majority do not realize these things and as such have been and are being fooled by the ones they claim to love. I like to call these lies The All Time ‘Greats’ 
Of all the greats, these are perhaps the most widespread among women of all race, color and nationality.

A woman’s response to any of the following questions is ALMOST ALWAYS a lie!

a. How many times have you had sex? 

Now let’s face it. The average 20-year old girl has more sexual experience that a 25-year old guy.

Why? I’d say because society sees nothing wrong in a 38-year old man making advances at a 19-year old lady but most cultures in the world can not even relate to the same scenario if the sexes were reversed.

So, except you’re a porn star or a perv-per-excellence, there are big chances she has had at least 2 or even 3 times more sex than you have.

Hence, next time she tells you she’s only been with 2 men, smile and do the math in your head. The answer should be 6.

b. How many relationships have you had in the past?

Understand this: a lot of ladies will pass for a ‘girlfriend’ with the average guy but fewer guys with whom a lady has had sexual relations, will pass for her ‘boyfriend’.

Simply put, when a woman says she had been in 8 relationships, remember to add the guy she liked just for the sex, the different ones she dated during her yearly visit to the Caribbean Islands and so on. Typically, people like those do not make it into her list of boyfriends. So, if she says eight, twelve should be a more accurate estimate.

On the other hand, a man meets a lady on the bus, sees her over the next 1 month and she’s already made his list.

c. Oh! John is your friend, right?

Up until i turned 20, i did not understand what women really meant when they refer to a man as friend.

As i grew older, i realized there are two major classes of people on a woman’s list of male friends:

 ‘Friend-zoned’ guys and Taken guys.

From my experience and a lot of other people’s, when a lady who is neither a tomboy nor belong in a male dominated societal class (e.g. whose profession is mechanical engineering, professional boxing etc), refers to a guy as a friend, 70% of the time, the guy would have either of the statuses earlier stated.

He either used to be interested in her (or have probably had a fling in the past), or is now taken by another.

The truth is, we are all guilty of this lies.!
