I think we have completely missed the "fine line" or "hidden lesson" in the Ops post.

I quite agree. When I read that post, my initial response was "hmm...., come again".

Then, I went back and read again, this time slowly and more reflectively, then I realized, this meant more than just financial contribution.

Then my more reflective response was "yes". Think of it this way: The measure of a man is reflected in his girlfriend/wife's countenance.

He contributes to your why you dey shine like say you be third rock from the eart. Abi, not neccesarrily materialistically. He makes you happy in the way he treat you.

Perhaps, behind every elegant and classy woman is a man who makes her feel that way.

Please, ladies, let's put aside this feminism notion of financial independence, it has it's role. But, we have to admit, it is nice to be taken care of every now and then. I like my own financial freedom, but I want to spoiled too. Let someone else chauffer me around sometimes.
