I doubt if there is any relationship without sex these days. Even the media is not helping in anyway to curb pre-marital sex instead, they are enhancing it. Can you think of any music video that doesn't display obscene scenes? I doubt. Ladies shaking their buttocks, showing ladies taking bath in the bathroom, ladies putting on mosquito net calling it fashion. Look at that girl in iyanya's okamfo video, she is somebody's future wife. Almost everywhere you go, you can't do without seeing these half unclad ladies. Even inside b.r.t, u ll see a screen playing fans mi by davido, real mvp by olamide, b.r.t that is for both adults and children. Will u now cover your ward's eyes? Well,premarital sex is thriving because of the influence from the western world.This people have no core values or belief system they introduced pornography and other vices of immorality to Africans. If u check the disparity between Nigeria hip pop videos in the 90's to the one nowadays u will see a big difference.music has taken a form of immorality instead of entertainment and moral teaching. Secondly,the growth rate of the youths is very high therefore they hv seen pornography and other illegal contents increasing their want for sex. The parents are also to be blamed for decay in moral upbringing and focus on western mentality. Pre marital sex led to the introduction of HIV/AIDS to our country.Also I think the enthusiasm in most teenagers made them fall prey to pre marital Sex. So therefore I think until we learn to embrace Africanism and our cultural and historical antecedents also with our societal values pre marital sex will always be a problem. 10 Likes 3 Shares |
