Has some banks started implementing it? I've not been able to withdraw with my ATM. My money is stuck on there. And I needed to make use of the money. And it's happening to so many people I know. Some are able to withdraw very little money sometimes, but some other times it doesn't work. |

AbuMaryam1:what exactly do you know about made in Nigeria products when you stay abroad? Do you depend on naira for business transactions? I am sure you have a foreign account. Please if the shoe doesn't fit, don't wear it and act like you know. Which products are currently being made in Nigeria that you know of? Is there a regular power supply for manufacturers to power their machines and others with? Or they should depend on fuel which is not even available at the moment? Do you know it is cheaper to import toothpick than to produce it locally? Why? Because of the lack of steady power supply amongst other factors. You don't just come up with an idea over night and expect it to work just like that. Even good ideas are not implemented overnight, there has to be careful planning, the structure of the plan should have been put in place or else that good plan will never be successful. 5 Likes 1 Share |

chinedu1nig:How will they pay for the machines when dollars are scarce? Importers are owing their suppliers abroad Banks are owing MasterCard and Co. Dollars That is the exact reason CBN came up with this policy, because there is no dollar to offset debts. Then you say people should import machines and pay with what? Naira? 9 Likes 1 Share |

bayulll01:To answer your stupid question. Oh yes I use my American master card in Nigeria and anywhere in the world. And my limit is $2000 usd a day which I can increase. The only thing I have to do is inform my bank were I am going so the can allow me withdraw to avoid fraud. Never had any issue with my card anywhere in the world. Hope that answer your questions. So make your contribution. Those of us that now have biz in Nigeria this government is trying hard to kill it by all means and people are suffering outside Nigeria and your bleeping shit. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

This issue is simple, you have naira and you want dollar, you tell your local bank to convert your naira to dollar, they told you they do not have enough dollars to do that, what will you do? You look for a local substitute for the product you intend to buy or you get a local products or services you can sell to earn forex. It's a painful policy but it is the best the government can do for now to save the economy but If you earn forex you are good to go. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Firefire:open a dollar account in your Nigerian bank, you ask for a dollar Visa card . You then buy dollars with your naira using the bank agent and deposit in your dollar Visa account. They will charge you $5 dollars or thereabout ontop whatever the black market price is. Then you can operate straight from the dollar Visa card. 4 Likes |
