Popular Yoruba actress in the Nigeria movie industry, Motilola Adekunle is currently in a running battle with her mother in-law over her alleged expensive lifestyle.



Motilola who used to work as a Newscaster and reporter on Galaxy TV before she resigned to join nollywood is currently having problems in her union with her Air Force Husband.




Ayadekunle as she is fondly called, now goes about without her wedding bands, which has become a thing of concern to some of her close friends, City People reports.



Media investigation on what could have led to the sudden separation revealed that the whole saga started between Motilola and her mother in-law who felt that the actress is too expensive for her son.



We gathered that Motilola’s husband, who is an Air Force officer was transferred to the north a couple of years ago. But as a responsible man, Adekunle always plays his role by sending money for the upkeep of his wife and child as at when due, while his mother joined his little family to keep each other company.




Their child is said to be schooling in one of the expensive boarding schools in south west, Nigeria. This however did not go down well with the mother in-law when she heard about it, saying that Motilola has been spending too much on herself and her son, when they can settle for less and still not strain her son's income.




When Motilola was asked to confirm this claim, she said, ”it is not true, my relationship with my mother in-law is intact”.




However, days after denying the claim, the Obafemi Awolowo University graduate, posted this on her BlackBerry Display Picture, ”You meet someone and you think that’s your final bus stop…. Then they start behaving like a conductor”.



We also gathered that Adekunle has been making frantic efforts to resolve the issue with his wife, but she is reportedly bent on ending the marriage and not ready to return to her matrimonial home.
