what do you really need certificate for, if you are so sure about the business

& what do they need the certificate ?,,,if the business fails will they eat the certificate ?..

What if fire burn the certificate in their custody, will they pay u damages

what if i collect the loan and then request for a new cert? clamming it was lost in a fire incident.

What is the use of a certificate that can't fetch you job. It is in order if it can fetch our teeming jobless youths loan to startup any business of their choice.

Do you think once you present a certificate the money will just be released to you? It is capital NO! Your school will be carried along as part of the requirements before the loan can be granted. The authenticity of your certificate will be confirmed from your school and your school will document everything, that is how it is done.

If it is a genuine scheme, I don't think the process will be long. Confirmation of result or certificate does not take much time unlike before. Most schools can be reached online and NUC will confirm if the school or the course of study is accredited. Let's see if this news is true. If it is genuine, interested persons should not downplay it, government loan comes with ease.

Come to think of It, Your certificate is not save in anybody custody, administration can change and you will hear stories. i agree, certificate will not fetch you job, but you will not know what you have until you lost it.

Certificate as collateral is not good enough, you might be running a business and yet get employed in a bigger or dream job, why people run your business.

There should be flexibility. If they see you have a good business plan and the structure in place, they should support you with a loan.

However, i will suggest, instead of NYSC should be One Month of Orientation, after which they give you the One year Allowance to go and start business instead of submiting Certificate for a loan
