In the wake of the pronouncement by President Buhari on the Employment of 500000 Teachers, there have been forecast that it will affect the business of most private schools especially those that exploit their teachers, and Charge huge fees for the following reasons 1. With the free feeding a lot of Children in private will leave for Public Schools. 2. With Graduate Teachers most parents will Prefer the Public Schools. 3. With More lucrative structured pay system, And opportunity for advancement of Careers a lot of Private School Teachers that have been enduring their School Owners will Naturally leave for Public schools. 4. There is room for expansion, for due to the almost free education, more pupils especially in rural areas will enroll in Public Schools and their might be need for new schools thereby even needing more Teachers. So my Question is these between a Primary School that have a graduate Teacher well taken care of, not overused, Guranteed pension and a secured career and A School that have a Teacher underpayed, overused that can be sacked anytime for no reason and no room for advancement and training, where will you enroll your child? |
