Regarding the office of the first lady, Buhari scrapped the office of the first lady but that does not change the fact that Aisha still remains the wife of the president who would still enjoy some privileges for being the spouse of a president. Scrapping the office of first lady simply means there would be no more FG budgetary allocations to the office anymore. It is as simple as that and it doesnt mean the president would have to lock his wife in purdah just to please some irrational critics.

Maybe I should let you know how much it cost the FG each time that jet is used. Where was the budgetary allocation for such trip to the "Office' of the wife of the President.

If they'd retained the 'office of the First Lady' or even at least 'office of the wife of the President' we will understand but in this hypocritical show, they claimed they have scrapped an office which indirectly still exist
