Please, am a year 2 student of Microbiology. And I love it so much( so much..that if you fling med surg or med lab in my face, I would'nt bat an eyelid.) I just want to be an ordinary scientist. Maybe a Dna analyst..

Well I just want to know if the course has improved in Nigeria, in year 2015. The Market acceptance,jobs and all.....

Dude go to banks and audit firm (kpmg, pwc and co), investment firms etc u wud see many microbiologist der. Ur course if study doesn't dictate ur career. Check job sites u rarely see adverts asking for dat course

Don't be discouraged. You can open your own lab for various medical tests. I saw u complained in one thread that people dont give prominence to important issues like this. I felt the need to encourage u. Merry Xmas @op and Nairaland at large. Hoping this will hit FP soon. This topic is crucial

Your course and its opportunities may be vague especially without a suitable mentor. If you can find a place that will ensure you gain valuable experience, you will indeed find your place. No course especially yours is unimportant.

Any of such LAB will not be approved therefore termed illegal in the sight of law. So therefore shall be closed down with owner arrested. Only qualified laboratory scientist should man a medical laboratory.
