And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, art not the least among the princes of Judah: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel -Matt2:6. The birth of Jesus Christ saw the fulfilment of old time prophecies. The world had long waited for his coming. Many expecting him to come like a superman or spiderman, flying in the sky and saving people. They expected him to come from a royal and wealthy family. They expected the saviour to be born in one of the rich hospitals. They did not expect him to come in a human form. No wonder they find it hard to believe him. Christ's birth is unscientific and unbiological. It is supernatural! Our Lord was conceived by the Holyspirit. No sexual intercourse. His birth was unexplainable. His birth shows us how humble our God is. No wonder he respects the humble. "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins -Matt1:21." Christ is called saviour because his mission is to save me and you from our sins. He is called Governor because he is to lead us, guide us and teach us all things, so that we will not perish. Surrender your life to Jesus as we celebrate His birth this Christmas. Let His birth be meaningful to you and spend most of your time thanking Him. God bless you. .
