Majority of 'couples' today got married without spending all these. Do you know the number of couples who didn't do any wedding at all? Yet these people live as husband and wife, in fact some just seal their relationship at a Registry and they live happily.

Money is the least most relevant thing for intending couples. We need to stop placing too much emphasis on money.

Many Nigerian ladies are still single because they are still looking for who can throw a lavish wedding party for them but the cheaper more simple minded ladies have since moved on and done simple and cheap weddings. One thing is worthy of note, call them cheap but they are married and you are not and may not be until you start visiting churches for prayers on marriage breakthrough.

what rubbish. not cool at all. while am not a fan of loud and noisy gatherings yet this paints both family black.

are you saying both families coming together can't raise more than that for a wedding?

any guy who does this is not ready for marriage, no need suffering the poor girl when she gets to your house.

Goodness gracious. Lwkmd. Then I do rather have just an engagement party and enter my husband house than all these embarrassments. Big weddings are sometimes waste of resources that could be channelled into something else. But if u have more than the money then why not?

hey lady how you doing? Love your assertion, will love to know you better.
