Ban Hijab Now Or Expect More Suicide Bombers. by ProfessorPeter(m): 10:07am On Dec 29, 2015 |
It is longer secret that boko haram uses young girls wearing hijab as Suicide bombers to carry out their barbaric acts. It obvious and glaring that boko haram is using hijab wearing girls to wreck havoc on soft targets across the northeast including Kano, Abuja and Kaduna. When we raised this issue that long hijab should be banned aleast for the meanwhile, Islamic leaders and clerics came out crying religious intolerance. They gave us thousands reasons why long hijab should not be banned. Geniue reasons of course. If a Muslim lady does not wear long hijab does that makes her an infidel? What about the short hijab? Is not Islamic? Chad, Niger, cameroun, France etc had banned long hijab. Should Nigeria not follow the same to avoid further loss of lives? I advocate that long hijab should be banned throughout the country now or else i no go pity any person wey hijab wearing suicide bombers kill. |

Your suggestion is a no brainer. How the political leaders of the north have not pushed for this up till now beggars belief. --- Of course, our "holier than thou" attitude will influence our judgement. We'd rather not offend Allah than apply common sense to protect lives & property. France banned it and heavens did not fall. It didn't make the Muslims there less religious. --- #CommonSensePlease!! 1 Like |

I dont really think a ban on hijab is going to be a panacea for terrorism in Nigeria |

I totally agree with you! A "ban" on the use of hijab remains one of the most "urgent solution" to "recurring" suicide bombings carried out by insurgents in the North East! Chad has effectively "enforced" it! I guess they are even more "islamic" than us and yet, they have successfully "enforced the ban on the use of hijab" in that country! I hope our Northern Brothers and Sisters would realise that, such "counter-measure" is for their own safety! Compliments of the season to all! |

soupandeba: It is a change in the mentality of Islamic fundamentalists like tartar9 and APCLyingBastard who believe Islam is the only way and no other. Like a father to his kids there are many ways to God. Like favored kids Islam is one but that does not mean it is the only way. That said banning hijab is not the way forward. It might be a means for Boko boys to breed more extremists. There is a need to strike a balance. I pray God will help the president in that regard. |
