The Department of State Services (DSS) yesterday re-arrested former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki shortly after he was released from the Kuje Prison in Abuja.

Dasuki is standing trial in three different courts in Abuja for alleged money laundering offences running into billions of naira.
He was taken to court by the anti-graft agency, the EFCC, but he was granted bail last week along with former Sokoto State governor, Attahiru Bafarawa and his son, Sagir, as well as a former NNPC top official, Aminu Baba Kusa.
Dasuki’s lawyer, Ahmed Raji (SAN) confirmed his re-arrest to Daily Trust last night.

Court grants him bail for EFCC to release him, the DSS swoops in on him. By the time the court will grant him bail for DSS to release him, who knows which other agency will be waiting for him? The EFCC might even come back with fresh charges.
