Yesterday I saw a billboard and on it there was an advert for a church programme.
The programme was tagged "Let's go to your Village".As a prophetic church one already knows what the programme seems to address.In this programme the prophet or pastor will give series of prophecies about peoples root.He will
demonstrate by saying as am here now I have entered
your village,Your grandmother is a witch troubling you,Your
grandfather tied ur destiny in a calabash,He will say all
manner of things he calls prophecy about virtually all the
old people around you in the village.At the end of the day
you will be so scared to go to ur own village or even allow
your kids go to their village.
Things like this are part of the reason many people don't even know the road to their villages let alone being there.The notion that Old people in the village are demons and the reason for some people leaving in the city backwardness is most stupid and insane.The pastors and
prophets these days are even making the situation worse.
Some people r about 18years now and they don't knw their
root or where dey came from because they have been
blindfolded with the notion of "old people will destroy you
if u get to your village".If some even manage to go their
village they won't eat their grandmothers food,they won't
eat anything from anyone,some will carry more than 3olive
oil that was prayed on by the pastor or prophet just to
fortify them from the claws of old aged people in the
village.
This Notion should change,We should not be so gullible to
believe that our old aged parents,uncles and auntie's in the
village are evil,they are not. Take your time and be with these people and see the joy in it.
