A country where a valid court order by a high Court Judge with respect to a former Director General of the DSS can be treated like tissue paper!

A country where the President overrides the constitution and becomes the new determinant of who deserves bail and who does not, a country where the president determines which unarmed civilian deserve to die or live.‎

A country where the President over rules grieving military  families by burying gallant troops  who died defending us in a mass grave  and in disgraceful manner is not the Nigeria of our dreams.

While not standing surety for anyone accused of criminal acts or  plifferring our common heritage I honestly submit that it is out of place for a president to overule a court of competent jurisdiction on a matter already determined by the courts ,it is simply a recipe for disaster!

Why should people go to courts if they can simply go to Buhari and ask if they deserve bail or not?

A society where agencies of state determine which court order they will obey and which to use as toilet tissue sets a dangerous precedence and rubbishes the whole essence of separation of powers.

The APC and Buhari must resist the temptation of constituting themselves into the final court of arbitration  in the land and subject themselves to democratic values even when it appears to be detrimental to their interest.

Many may not see the larger ill in actions like these until officers and men  of the Nigerian police Force  as presently constituted start copying these draconian tendencies from General Buhari ......... it's time to act before its too late

May God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Have a pleasant New Year Ahead

It's not a new thing to disobey court orders especially when national security is at stake.

USA, UK, Russia and many advanced democracies have all disobeyed court orders at some point when it's issue of national security.

So, Baba is on point on this one. Love him or hate him, what you see is what you get. No deceit!
