Reports say that Chief Ralph Uwazruike, leader of BIM- Biafra Independent Movement, has appointed Rev. Fr. Samuel Aniebonam, a Catholic priests as Chairman of Biafra Independent National Electoral Commision, B-INEC.


Uwazurike made the announcement at Ojkwu Memorial Bibrary, Owerri, Imo State. He explained that his action was in line with BIM's principle of non-violence towards establishing a sovereign control over the territorial boarders of the new Biafra


Uwazuruike noted that come February 22,2016, Rev. Fr. Aniebonam and his team of other members of B-INEC would be responsible for conducting and supervising internal elections in all offices of BIM, come conduct and supervise the internal election in all the offices of BIM.
