Before heading out somewhere in your car ,
you’re going to need to check the doors of your
vehicle very, very carefully. Word is that a new
scam is on the rise that allows thieves to break
into your car rather easily.
The trick is pretty old up their sleeves but one
that can be easily missed. You should watch for
your car doors (all four) for a coin shoved into
the gap

This disengages the central locking system of
your car causing it to malfunction, unbeknownst
to you. So this way when you park your car for
good at night and are in a habit of locking it with
the help of your car key, it will remain unlocked.
This allows the robbers plenty of time to get in
your vehicle overnight and steal whatever
valuable possessions you have, or the car itself
with the help of a master key (if you have the
old model that is).
