Nairalanders  ... Alright y'all know I just got a job. I expected d job to be in lagos bub right now d company has said we would be transferring to Kano to work... I m prepared to go, buh my parents are at loggerheads with me.. my Dad even said I should resign... iono wat to do o.. Pls I need ur advices... is kano safe for ND guy like me.. etc.. I would advise you to go for now but make sure you are seriously seeking for another job. Kano is not too bad but make sure you know ur limits. Make ur parents see reasons why u need to start working. It is well with you. 3 Likes |

OP, u dey fear? Relax, Kano is not as hot as Sambisa. Kano is a peaceful town. Go and conquer and start sending money to your parents which will shut their mouth. Reminds me of those militancy period in PH. When my brothers, and friends, hear it in the news they thought all of us are already dead not knowing it deppends on the area where you are. this is a tough call. condsidering the stand of your parents. but in recent times, i think you should follow your heart. i recently spoke tto a friend of mine who works in kano and she said its safe there. the question is , is there any where that is safe in this world? but we got to do what we got to do. |
