I am actually from Ekiti. Ayede ekit (under Oye local government) to be specific. My dad was one of the chiefs of ayede ekiti. If that don't make me ekiti, then I don't know.

The reason I am not taking this serious because all these segregation on nairaland and nigeria as a whole sucks. Division amongst human being have more disadvantages than advantages in my opinon. What is the purpose of this thread? Why can we not deal with each other as humans, instead of seperating ourselves on the basis of where we come from?

I'm not Ekiti but my mum told me recently (about two or so years now) that one of my ancestors' mum is from there. Dad's side. Long time ago.

I wasnt aware before- I wonder why. Thought I knew everywhere I was related on my dad's side.
