Thank you o.

Parrot Drone na 300 euros o. There even cheaper drones here. Kids and university students play with drones here o. They make it seem as if drones can stay forever in flight. They have battery life and ranges they can cover.

They had better get serious with real street cameras and make regulations and encourage major and minor commercial centers to have functioning street and internal CCTV cameras.

I hope the Nigerian army won't dare go for any serious operation with this kind of "surveillance camera"? Using an ipad as the controller of a security camera is extremely dangerous because a remote attacker could take control of the device and all they think they want to do will become child's play.
Controlling such a device with an ipad makes it highly unreliable. They better search for cyber security experts to research and develop reliable system for them.
Not even when those 'sojo guys' are always browsing through series of pornography websites and loading tons of malware into their mobile devices and network. undecided

It is a drone. But only an observation drone. I don't know that the army is drumming it as anything more than that. Mind you the Nigeria Air Force has Chinese CH3 drones ( see image) that have seen action in the North East. Here are some of its specs.

Speed: 220km per hour
Max range: 2400 Km
Armaments: Semi Laser full laser guided missiles.

Nigeria is one of only 5 countries in the entire world to have used armed drones in combat. Other are USA, UK, Israel and Pakistan. In a season where bashing Nigeria's armed forces has become the new cool, just thought to point it's UAV capabilities out.
