Have you ever wondered why the path which leads to heaven is a narrow path and why people love to tread the wide path that leads to destruction? There is no other reason than the fact that it is very difficult to follow and do the will of God.

A man that will do the will of God must have overcome sin, self and worldliness. The devil is always available to stop you from entering into the rest prepared by God for you. Your self interest, desire and ambition is a major resistance to who the Lord wants you to be. It will never be easy for any man to follow Him until he denies himself to live for the one who died for our sins.

We have various witnesses around us; those who were tempted, beaten and rejected in their quest to follow God and do His will (Heb 11:1-end). They held on to doing God's will even if it will take their lives.

Therefore, at this time, we have no excuse; our experience is not different from theirs. Let us keep aside every hindrance and run with patience to win the race set before us. Be wise to always follow and do the will of God irrespective of your experience in life.
