Job Purpose and Key Deliverables

Job Overview:
Primary responsibility is to provide leadership, direction and supervision of staff in the daily operations of the Spa. The Spa Director is to oversee the coordination of all guests requests, be directly involved in budgeting, forecasting, payroll and scheduling as well as product inventory and ordering



Reports To: Owner, Managing Director

Guest Relationships:

Internal: Spa, Salon, Fitness Center, Spa Boutique, Housekeeping, Engineering, Accounting, Purchasing and Reception



External: Guests, visitors, members (if applicable), service company personnel and vendors

Specifications: Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will posses the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Some requirements might exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to themselves, other employees or the guest.

Qualifications:

Essential: 1. University degree or equivalent experience

2. Accounting and budgeting knowledge

3. Strong communication skills

4. Proven leadership qualities

5. Minimum 2 year experience in the hospitality Industry or (at least one year in a Director level position)



Desirable: 1. Extensive computer knowledge and computer applications

2. Fitness and/or Salon experience, Hospitality experience

3. Excellent communication skills

4. Public speaking knowledge and experience



Skills:

Essential: 1. Ability to motivate and train staff

2. Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision

3. Ability to work cohesively with all Spa areas & co-workers as part of a team

4. Ability to schedule various services for individuals and large groups

5. Ability to guest speak about the Spa, its concepts and services

9. Ability to follow budgetary guidelines

6. Develop and plan spa treatments and fitness concepts


7. Assist ownership or management with concepts and ideas to keep YOUR Spa ahead of its competition and in the cutting edge of the Spa industry.

8. Maintain the YOUR Spa standards with all staff

9. Age: 28-35 yrs

10. Language: You must be fluent in English and Hausa
