Chelsea forward Diego Costa has overcome a
bruised knee and will face West Brom.
Loic Remy is fit following a calf problem, but
Eden Hazard and Radamel Falcao remain out
with respective groin and thigh injuries.
West Brom pair Jonas Olsson and Victor
Anichebe are likely to be ruled out for the
third successive game because of hamstring
injuries.
Ben Foster could make his first Premier
League appearance since March.
The goalkeeper played in the FA Cup at the
weekend after a 10-month absence with a
serious knee injury.
MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES
Jonathan Pearce: "Chelsea haven't lost at
home in the league against West Brom since
1978. Chelsea went down that season. Any
lingering fears of a relegation scrap this
season have surely gone though.
"It was always unlikely. Once order had
replaced the dressing-room Mourinho malaise
and a positive-minded coach arrived, they
were always destined to rise.
"If they play as they did at Palace, two home
wins this week can have them pressing for
Europe - if not the Champions League as
Hiddink predicts.
"West Brom will be feistier than Palace. If they
can keep it level for an hour, they could get a
point. They'll stay up."
WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY
Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink: "So long as
we have the possibility to go to fourth place
we will go for that.
"It's not that we are without chances to go
there (fourth) and then we bring in youngsters,
no.
"I will not hesitate whenever possible to bring
in youngsters as well. The youngsters must try
to learn also to work under this pressure."
West Brom head coach Tony Pulis: "We're in
for a tough game. Chelsea have some
wonderful players and we'll have to be on it
and at our best.
"That's the same with every top four or five
club. If you go away and play against them
you have to have at least 10 of your players
playing to their maximum to get a result."
