You can't successfully book for the exam on Pearson web site. You need to purchase a voucher via mindhub.co.uk. It's the voucher code you will use to complete the booking on the Pearson website.
In order to buy the voucher, you will need a dollar or pounds account.

Good morning people, please permit me to ask a question here in order to save my sister from fraudulent people. I don't know much about the nursing profession so permit me about the terms.

My sister is nurse, I stumbled into one of her files recently and I noticed that she is registering for a regulatory body in UK for her profession through one Nigeria agent, so I discovered that the agent has asked her to pay 1500pounds to a hospital where she will do her adaptation period but the own thing looks fishy to me maybe because it is not my field anyway lols... So when I confronted her, we said that is the way it is in the whole UK for nursing, physician and other health related professional though different amount depending on your field.

Please, I will be very glad if anyone can just confirm it.....

That's a big scam, any agent that ask you to pay for that is nothing but scam

Is it that they don't pay for adaptation in UK or they don't do adaptation in the UK for Registration so I can know what to tell her......

You pay for verification which I think 140GBP. Outside that no other payment until she want to finalize the registration which is after traveling to UK.
All the details are available online
Just search for NMC UK registration fees

As for the adaptation, it's a normal thing for overseas nurses unless you are given an exemption by NMC and the period varies depending on the Trust that employs you but it will be stated in your offer letter.

I wonder why people love these scams. I guess it's due to fear of facing exams. They want shortcuts and those shortcuts do not exist they are plainly scam cut. Information is online, read this thread and you will get more than enough

Thanks very much.
Since their Certificate is recognized and their program is great then I will go for it and use MSc to move to another country.

If I use MSc to enter another country do I still need Nigeria license or I can just get the license from the country.
For instance, when I finish masters in UK or canada or US can I write their exam to get license instead of coming to Nigeria.
Thanks[/quote]

Thank you for your time. When I ask her about it, she said the money is for OSCE exams in the UK hospital, that she will pay the money before traveling for the training in the UK. Please is she supposed to pay for the money or is she supposed to pay the money while in Nigeria? Re: Nigerian Nurses And Midwives With The Dream Of Working Abroad Let's Meet Here. by Hunnybee: 5:39pm On Nov 08, 2021
Your Sister is about to get scammed, plain and simple.
1. The employer pays for her visa application and OSCE exam, some employers will ask that you pay it back but only after passing the OSCE and they’ll then deduct it from her salary every month
2. There is nothing called adaptation in the UK anymore. What happens is you come in as a pre registered nurse, take OSCE prep classes organised by your employer, take OSCE,you pass, get your PIN and start working as a UKRN
Anyone telling you there’s an adaptation program or a waiver for it issued by the NMC UK does not know their onions, and anyone asking your Sister to pay OSCE fee before travelling will only take the money and disappear.

please kindly ask your sister if she has passed her ielts and cbt. Exams and refer her to this tread.People don't like researching before embarking on a journey. Even you that is not a nurse is researching and also on this tread. When I started my own registration process I came to this tread and read it from the beginning to the end and have gotten help from strangers here too. So good luck to her.

I'm sure you have bnsc because avant and shearwater don't accept nurses with only RN.

Since you don't have nclex yet, you can sign with any agency if you are good with their contracts.. but if I were you, I would sign with avant.. why? Avant contract is the best among the three because you can finish within 2years even before 2years.. because it's hours they count nor years..

Shearwater and interstaff contracts are 3years, you can NEVER convert to hours..

Interstaff don't pay for flight tickets when you are ready to travel for nclex which is the most expensive for the whole process..

Avant has more states for assignment than the rest, avant has more than 40states , interstaff and shearwater don't have upto 10..

Many things about these agencies that I know but it's okay to stop here.. I signed with avant and I'm always happy that I did.

Cheers
[Can I pls contact you? I already signed a contract with Avant but I seriously need some clarifications. Pls you can reach to me via my mail " endywittyelufe@gmail.com" Thanks in anticipation]

Hello everyone, hope you're all having a good day?

I just stumbled on this forum 2 days ago, and it's exactly what I've been looking for (I can't believe it took me this long).
My interest is mainly on relocating to the US. I applied with Avant and was scheduled for the interview but after the interview I wasn't selected to move forward, and I wasn't happy sincerely. But instead of wallowing in my disappointment I decided I was going to write NCLEX by myself even though I had just little to no information on how to go about it, and then I found this platform. I've gotten a great amount of knowledge in just these few days by just going through the messages here, although that's good but it's still not enough. My only request is if there's anyone who's also on the same path as me (maybe about to start or is far ahead), Ill really appreciate to talk to the person(s) because I have so many questions (dem say person wey dey ask question no dey miss road). Please you can respond to my message or contact me through my mail tessiedulcie@gmail.com, thank you.

Please gurus in the house does anyone has experience with the nursing adaptation program in Ireland?

I applied for a long stay visa in Ireland (the nursing adaptation route) but I was denied visa because of insufficient fund in my account. Meanwhile they only requested for my payslips and as such I submitted it with my salary account without money in it. I didn't think this was a problem because I was going to start getting paid after 1 month according to my contract/agent.

I don't want to make fresh applications given how long it took them to make a decision. I would rather appeal.

Please the questions are thus, does anyone know the minimum amount I should have as account balance before appealing?

Secondly how long should the money be in my account?

Thirdly, can I combine my statement of account with that of my husband? Mind you for now I am travelling alone without my husband.

Leave agents alone, write the necessary exams and leave. Which one is adaptation??

When you submit your document after accessing it the decision was that I come over and do the exam there in Ireland while working a hospital. But then I need a contract. It was an agency over there that got the contract for me.

Please anyone with useful advice on my situation should please advice me.

I don't know anything about them because I don't use agents. But if they will be of help to you, I think it's essential you provide them those documents to work with. Just my opinion. Those who are into agency stuff, can give more accurate information.
