U can be right, but u need flexibility too as a Nurse--- African Nurse for that matter.

If u wait for Direct hire and it doesn't come nko? Also, some agencies too could have direct hire stuff, but if your intention for direct hire is that the agency doesn't cheat u at all( lol), who pays for all the Lawyer's fees, immigration stuff etc..... Or, u want these for free? The Direct Hire agencies will still get their cuts and 'bid' down your wage per hr to recover overhead costs and make profit on you too( face reality please), they are not charity agencies.

What some people do is to pay off the money 'owed' the agencies calculated in wages per hr, so they are free from the contracts on time, LEGALLY( seek respectfully counsel/opinion of your agency when you start with them).... Nigerians should not be associated with breaking contracts please.

U will still recover your money eg via Travel Nursing( which Westways etc have), Home Health, Per Diem etc..... Be patient.

U can also study more( seek cheaper means) and hold managerial positions in addition to the above.

All those asking many questions, channel these to your chosen agencies.... But, try enter 1st naw....

Hi everyone

What advice do you have for a student nurse who is about to graduate in few months as regards preparation for relocating.

Also, I heard that Nigeria has been on the red-list country for UK and they don’t hire from here again. Please how true is this, and what is the solution to this situation?

Thanks

Hi House,

I’m in Canada and would love to verify something for my younger sister.

Please has NMCN started their verification again?

Is the website open for verification?

I would greatly appreciate your answers.

Thank you

Gratefulme40 has spoken well.

I paid official fees and fees for express service. I didn't stop there. I specifically demanded that courier delivery be used and I demanded the tracking number and I entrusted someone there to act as my paid for agent to ensure all these happened.

I paid more yes, but that is the price for ensuring things work in Nigeria.

Let me assume, your case may not even have been closed at the council.

If you need a contact at the council, I can help. If not, I have let the cat out of the bag, over to you!

Please I am interested in your contact. How can you help me

Hello have you gone through this or seen anyone that has gone through this.

I just confirmed from another UK registered nurse right now. She said it's possible to register as a mental health nurse now without a BNsc. All you need to do is to register from your first registration as a mental health nurse without your BNsc. Then write the CBT and OSCE for mental health nurses instead of adult nursing. Yes you can do that with just your RN[/quote]

And now the verification has halted.

And I guess it's all country that need your verification before one can work there.

Good morning all
Pls I’m asking this on behalf of someone who has plans to relocate as a nurse abroad. She would like to have both her internship certificate and NYSC certificate.
Please is there any implication if she does the internship and NYSC the same year? The plan is to ghost the NYSC so that she doesn’t waste time doing that again.

Not true. You can register without any specialist mental health training but your nursing degree is still a requirement.
