Thanks.

AVANT apologized profusely. They said it was due to 'lack of leadership at the uscis'. My understanding from their mail was that there may have been some changes in immigration rule. They are to get some documentation sorted (i think Dept of labour doc or so) with uscis after which they would reapply for me. I also got to understand most of their application were denied, but i don't know if its avant only that is affected. They have not reverted to say when they are applying for me or specific timelines they are working with (very unlike AVANT).

I'm just so drained emotionally now. I'm seriously thinking of cbt. Its far less stressful

Just an advise to any nurse having emigration dreams..until you get ur visa/travel documents PLS DON'T QUIT YOUR JOB OR STUDIES, cos if the whole thing goes south you would have deep regrets.
hey just hold on. You are this close to your dream. Never give up. Avant have said that they have. Leadership issues with USCIS and its not peculiar to avant alone. Just don't give up and don't look for another recruiter expect you are ready to pay back.

You don't need anything to be eligible to register for cbt so far you are in Nigeria currently.

Secondary, nobody can send you thiers.
The said form is personalised. Ain't no way two individuals can share thus, why you can't find it online.

It's available to you once you've passed the cbt and paid to progress to data assessment stage.

Meaning? You dont need ielts or the other parameters to be eligible for Cbt, what do you mean.... I know You must pass a criteria b4 getting to the cbt stage, either cbt or trancript or reference from place of work....

Weldone IYIMAN and Barbie. I have been a silent follower of this thread. I have read through from the first page to the last but I must admit I still don't understand some things and I would like you and the whole house to please shed more light on this.
I'm about to move to the middle east on a job offer. This isn't my final destination but I need to save towards moving to the US.
I am planning to do CES and also write NCLEX next year.
My question is do I still need visa screen if I'm not in nigeria?
Does that mean I have to come back to Nigeria to process my EB3 visa?
Is it possible to get employed in the US after passing the NCLEX on B1/B2 visa. Or will still require visa screen?
Your response would be highly appreciated.

Try to go through this thread, a lot of vital info about CES by CGFNS. Also your ability to practice after CES , Nclex pass etc. May depend on your immigration status. What type of visa you're holding, will you need adjustment of status ( if not on immigrant visa), will you need to come home for consular processing. Those are the things to consider as you start the process.

Its not possible to get employed as a nurse with a B1B2 visa.... you are not supposed to work with that visa even if you have Nclex.

You still need visa screen irrespective of where you are....

About coming back to Nigeria to process Eb3 visa, that am not sure but am thinking you should be able to do it from the embassy Wherever you are.

Visa screen comes after you have passed your nclex exam....

You can do it on your own if you can afford it....
Type in P4O6 in the search button, search and read his post... he did it on his own and stated the different steps to follow....

I am told the requirements to sign up with passport USA is either a pass in Nclex or cgfns with an experience in at least a 100beds + hospital.
in my case, I had already passed nclex before I approached them, had an interview with them and then given a contract to sign.
Is it true that NCLEX cannot be written in Nigeria.
