This is not surprising to me. I wasn't expecting much from her. I expected PMB to give that position to Enelamah, he would have been a better option but Baba seems to be rewarding his loyalists at the expense of our economy.

Kemi Adeosun is.capable. Her problem is image, not capacity

Bayo Ogunlesi or Ayo Teriba, either would be more than capable but I suspect the government was looking for a lightweight that can be bossed around.

Okechukwu Enelamah is also very good but there is a strength of feeling against perceived Igbo domination.

She should be redeployed immediately for our own good. The minister for Trade and Industry should handle that Finance Ministry because he's well grounded in that area

People have not yet realised what is called scope. The scope of Kemi's responsibilities is much ruduced compared to the bumbling, less effective "coordinating minister of the economy".

She deals with finance. This former senator and San (forgot his name) deals with budgets and planning ( with inputs from her ofcourse). Enelamah also has his arm of duties. We have not really heard or even seen these other guys, and not that we need to when we ( excluding Igbos) understand the economics of how we got here and how to get out!

Nigeria has gotten too use to NOIs busy body. Kemi adeosun's arrival seems to douse the climax, especially @ dire economic times like this. I get the feeling that her role as finance minister may as well be dwarfed by The president's stance (just my thought).
The CBN governor seems to be the one driving the boat, while we would expect the minister to constantly brief us on fiscal policies to cushion the effects of the rigid monetary policies.

I just hope she works with the best hands and bold enough to exert her stance to an appreciable extent. I dont envy her right now.

Why did ngozi okonjo excel as minister of finance? She held that post when oil price was extremely high, which enabled the naira to gain against the dollar. It's so sad that you do not know that she messed it all up by allowing corruption to thrive under her nose. Under her, dollars were issued instead of naira.

People like you act as if the new minister Adeosun created this problem she's facing. You exonerate Ngozi who created the problem even when she presided over an oil price increase period, just cos she's "our daughter".

What evidence can you point to in your homeland to give ctrdinility to tbese assertions?

Perception is not reality. Nigerians love big names and qualifications to the extreme, it does not necessarily mean those biggies bring better results, we make the same fallacy in selection of football players in to national team.
