The Lagos state government should strip Oba Akran of his traditional titles and the road that was name after him should be annulled.

Bring forward your father's name so that it can be used as a replacement

Now you know the difference between Stealing and Corruption.

IMO, Calling it blatant "Stealing" (which is what it is) makes prosecution faster and gets the accused jailed in time.

But you call it corruption and have to prepare for protracted legal procedures that drags so long till the incumbent president/efcc chairman leaves office, putting an inconclusive end to the case and the accused ends up walking away with his loot.

Ecoterrorist:
is it the same person they named a road in Ikeja after. why should ex convicts be celebrated.

Good question. We Nigerians lack good morals. We still have major roads and edifices in Abuja and other cities named after the criminal and despot Sanni Abacha.
And we claim to be very religious. I have not seen a more hypocritical society than Nigeria.

my question is : is this the first time we re celebrating Armed Forces Remembrance day

why all this revelations this year.

people should mind the kind of history they go about digging out fa..

this is the golden jubilee of the coup so its a special anniversary

but don't worry all these revelations will soon be forgotten, we have other pertinent issues eg naira rate, fuel subsidy, bh, dasuki etc

Really?, Oba Akran of the popular avenue in Ikeja looted roughly N2bn in 1967!
Waaaawuuu!
So, is he a traditional ruler, or Oba is just his first name?
Meanwhile that Oba Akran Avenue should have been renamed immediately in the 70s, this idea of celebrating thieves seems to be in our DNA.
