I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this but i use this opportunity to request the Mods to kindly relocate to the correct section (if i'm in the wrong section)

So, i received a Whatsapp message from this number +234 816 981 0850 asking if i have a device for sale. I replied yes (which is correct see https://www.nairaland.com/2852620/sale-iphone-6-samsung-galaxy . My devices will be in Lagos this new week) grin

We exchanged messages and he was okay with my price and photos which was sent confirming the device as described.

Then, i get a message saying he is enlisted in the USA military and he wants to buy my device as a gift to his son who is in the USA and i should send it through DHL after payment. (I just laughed and knew this person is trying to con me).

I made it clear that exchange (phone/cash) will be a physical one.

See photos of the chat between both parties (myself and who ever this person is)

You all be careful out there.

naija... the hustle is real.

some of these guys are very smart and intelligent and are supposed to have been useful to our society, but it is very unfortunate,we are in a society where our youths are totally neglected.
