The Tenant - A feature film from the stables of Broken Manacles Entertainment Inc was announced as the winner of the Audience Choice Award at the celebrated Hollywood Black Film Festival in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday June 7th, 2009 It was written and produced by Jude Idada and directed by Lucky Ejim. The former a graduate of the theatre arts department of the University of Ibadan and the latter a theatre arts graduate from the University of Benin. They are currently working on two new film projects - The drum and Sex in the Age of Innocence in addition to finalising discussions with theatre chains in Nigeria in preparation of bringing their award winning film to a theatre near you.
