We have visited Anaku and Omor to see things for ourselves.

I was personally impressed.
The decision to take our destiny into our hands is very real.

After Agriculture, the next is Science and Technology.

Our only problem is those who use policies of hatred to trample on our lofty dreams.

If we are allowed to fly as we want. we shall make ICs and nuclear weapons.

Hahahahahah.

Make una no fear, it's just for self defense.
You nailed it Bro..... Wish Okoroawusa will follow up

You know how much they hate to see development in the East...hehehehehe

Exactly my thought. Enemies of progress won't be happy with anything progress. Even the so called progreesives will hate on this progress. With so much love form the middle belt.

Beautiful news. This is the kind of progressive news I love to hear. This is one area where the new FG seem not to have impressed me at all. I expected that by now we would have heard of some monumental radical policies to promote agriculture on a nationwide scale but nothing seems to be happening to prove that the government really wants to diversify anything.
It is coming, and coming in Very big. You will remember this when it starts.

Ebonyi has rice and yam farms, Enugu State has Pineapple farms, Abia has cashew farms. But what is just needed is full expansion and commercialization. Above all, these states I mentioned are at least doing something.

the apc has been begging him to join apc. Their van filled with "apc elders" is mostly parked in front of government house, awka.

I saw the news on nairaland that they a "barring" Obiano from apc and I just laughed. Am sure he refused them so they resulted to blackmail.

Obiano is the best thing to happen in the east. All eastern governors are stepping up to their greatest..well, not all.

Aroma farms have started their expansion as well
except imo state.

its not about party. Its the candidate/person that matters. If tomorrow Willie changes to PDP/APC you all will say all these development is because he is in APC just as some folks on here say about Amaechi.

So you want to tell me that if PDP or kowa brings out a messiah you wont vote him because he is not in APC or you really believe that once a thief joins APC or the ruling party his sins and criminal tendencies are erased. Yes?

That Party argument is lame sadly enough its has being one major bane we have toward development.

Pushing agriculture is great...but we need to be careful...very careful. Why must foreign "investors" be allowed to work our land? Why can't the governor make it possible for Nigerians to farm the very lands made available to those from Thailand? Would they be exploiting Anambra's 'human resources'....treating them like slaves like the Chinese do?...or would they be coming with their own labourers?...become naturalized citizens and eventually take possession of the land?....then converting it to real estate for the establishment of hotels or resorts? ...and 30 years later the locals would be sidelined and we have to wage war to drive them out...just like South Africa? This is the trend of 'foreign investors'...come in under one pretext and eventually turn to their main aim. What would happen to the locals?...the local small farmers?.... would the locals be protected from environmental contamination?..or they don't matter? Before celebrating and beating our chests we need to look farther than our noses.

As an Abambra man, I can't say that Obiano has not done well for Anambra. The only thing I hate about him is how he handled the IPOB protesters who were shot by the Nigerian Army and Police. Even if he didn't want to condenm that dastardly act, he should have reached out to the families of the bereaved and those in hospitals
