This fellow was one of those responsible for the rise of boko haram.
In 1999 as Governor he was the first to promote sharia law in his state and he defended it based on principles of federalism. Obasanjo as president was either too much of a coward or for political purposes refused to take him on.
It was his state, the first amputee of sharia law was recorded.
I can't remember the fellow name but his left hands were chopped of for stealing less than #20K.
Still as Governor, the idi.ot sanctioned the stoning to death of a woman accused of adultery.
The Vatican, NGOs and the Italian government were all responsible for upturning the judgement. Left to Obasanjo, the woman should have been stoned.

Seeing the boldness of these atrocities committed under the name of religion, groups like Yusuf boko haram were able to gain traction.

He didn't develop Zamfara state but was stealing them blind while using religion as a cover.
His case file should be transferred to SHARIA court and if found guilty, his both hands should be chopped off.

Good. Sherimas charge should include trafficking in child marriage from Egypt. He might have used part of this money to cajole the parents of the girl to enable him import her into Nigeria.

Then the more senseless ones would be influenced by the paid ones to join and continue the senseless wailing.

Simple...Buhari should allow the EFCC and ICPC act on the numerous petitions filed by CACOL against Fasola. Ditto Tinu.bu and Amaechi.

Only then shall we take his "anti-corruption" fight serious.

I think what they should be charging this man instead is for his role in calling for another constitution a.k.a sharia law within the constitution of Nigeria. Religious agitations rose after his sharia crusades spread across the north. Soon after we had boko haram to contend with.
