Please guys, when filling in my referees, do I have to fill in the people that will sign my attestation form..i.e someone not below the rank of lt colonel, or can i fill in anyone in the mean time?
Re: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by Casper32: 10:56pm On Feb 09
And what about the attention form from former institutions. Are we supposed to get it from one of the institutions or ALL of the institutions attended.
My secondary school doesn't even exist anymore.
Please someone with experience should respond as it's urgent now.

My own question is about the clause in the application instructions that states that applicants must submit a letter of Attestation from their former institutions....what institution are they referring to please? is it the university attended or the institution we currently work for or any institution we have previous affiliations with such as secondary/primary schools attended....or could it be a religious institution?
Please someone with an idea should kindly clarify. thanks.
its not necessary, nobody will ask for it, don't stress yourself except you are using a statement of result and not original certificate then get one from your university

Thank you oga sir. Sometimes na why most people wey make am from this platform no Dey wan talk for here again. I remember getting a lot of help from this same platform thanks to you and a number of good people here. I hope that our dreams come true just as mine did too.

To disabuse the minds of others, The new Major Generals don’t care about background or nepotism, once you qualify and pass screening, your chances are very high. I wish others the best as they apply.

Thank you so much for your very matured response to the guy. God bless you sir
Some of us are new here, abeg share your experience with us na grin. Something about the first day you people reported to camp or anything you think is worth sharing, plus i heard even after making the final list cadets can still be dropped after reporting to camp, under what circumstances can that happen (asides been disobedient)?

Start the trend from the beginning if you want to know how it is but know that when you finally make the training list, u can be sent home for fake certificate, fake age, indiscipline, medical issue and also you can also run away lol etc..

Hahaha... That run away part is quite amusing.

Hope you don't mind me asking, In respect to the fake certificate, medical and Age, shebi all of these are checked thoroughly b4 interview with the board and b4 the final list is released? How do such applicants still make the final list in the first place?

Especially that medical sef bcoz one of my former neighbor once said they go as far as asking applicant to go naked at some point during medical check-up. Don't know if it's true or not though.

Well the training is hectic therefore they can't take it any longer. Second question is very good, most times they go through it and ask some few questions like your age. But when you get to training ground, they start to investigate like going to your school to find out if you graduated and for the age own, they know how to do it. People have several ways of forging results and age but they know how to get the truth. While that medical part, even when you are training, they tend to examine you that's when they find someone tendency of having high BP and other illness. Yes they strip them unclothedness but getting to training, they also go for another check up, make person no go collapse while training. If you are caught with fake certificate or fake age, as a civilian, they hand you over to the police after spending time in the guard room and military personnel, they hand them over to MP, they know what to do. Dssc 26, they sent some people home including soldiers for age falsification.

Please Quote this tweet later in the week so I can share my experience by weekend. Thank you. By then I’d have accumulated my experience and I’d share for those who might gain experience.

I shared my screening experience when it was fresh. If you go back a few pages, you will see it sir.

Meanwhile I’d share an abridged version of my training experience this weekend by God’s grace.

Yes, cadets get withdrawn all the time for various reasons but for your type of training, it’s mostly for incomplete or unverifiable results asides from indiscipline (this one sef, they no born you well sha. You will suffer properly if you try it…imagine them taking away your most precious thing “admin”…you will not even dare it…whatever you are, the army doesn’t care about status or favoritism…we are one body and every indiscipline act will be met with suicidal sanctions…manage and be disciplined)

Trust me, I’m not kidding. By God’s grace you will come back to confirm this

People can maneuver that’s why till you retire, the army will continue to vet you and your claims. Once they catch any foul play, MP straight.

Yeap physiological test. You will strip and they will check your balls, for pile, for hunch, asymmetry etc

Get an affidavit testifying to that effect. It would be respected by your screening officer.

All the best gentleman applicant.

Pls who has registered successfully recently? I wonder why the website is so jammed and not functional. I've been able to force submit my application via my phone but I still can't log in on a computer to print my photo cards. It says dob mismatch, but I always log in using my phone.

Again, my generated photo card refused to display my picture which was in png format, hope I'm safe.

Lastly, I need to ask, I registered using my primary school testimonial cos I don't have the govt cert and also uploaded my BSC statement of result cos i havent collected my cert yet. Do I still have a chance?

Good morning bro, those marking they give children on the stomach when they fall sick at tender age, those from the south maybe more familiar with it, can it be a ground for someone to be disqualified during medicals?
