It pains me despite past outbreak of Lassa fever. There is no known no cure and no strategic master plan by affected countries to contain and eradicate such contagious virus.
Like Ebola like Lassa, they both have similar symptoms, it is an acute viral hemorrhagic fever caused by Lassa virus and was first discovered in 1969.
Just like during Ebola epidemic in 2014, more should be geared towards prevention and eradication.

Protection such as maintaining a general personal, home and environmental cleanliness. Medical personnel should wear protective gloves and mask, when treating infected person.
