The Executive Secretary of Somolu Local Government, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, Engr. Abiodun Orekoya, has urged residents who abandon their vehicles on the road to remove them. He also warned street urchins to desist from disturbing contractors with ‘Owo Omo onile’ (money for land owners) as the local government flagged off roads repair in the council area. The two streets to be reconstructed by the council with drainages are Anifowoshe and Okesuna.
