Putting a thread that lacks evidence on the front page is not right in my opinion because it could easily lead people to doing things that have no basis in the religion...

We could have waited for evidence for some of the assertions made before putting it on the front page.... There are many good things but there are some things that are suspect as well...

May Allah guide us to the straight path

Very simple, I requested that it be put out there so that learned people can correct any "wrong teachings" that may be there. You can post what you know to be correct for the benefit of all on the same thread. The OP has tried in his own way, you can help to make it better. The fact that it is on front page doesn't make it infallible.

I respectfully disagree with you, sir.... You do not put out an unverified news report hoping that the public will correct it. Invariably, someone would consider the information to be valid and act on it. We are asked to verify news reports before reporting them in the Quran, there is a reason for that.
