Famous And Well-known Books Of All Time. by RemenZack(f): 10:12am On Jan 23, 2016 |
P.S - www.remenzack.com is thoroughly responsible for any of her posts linked here on Nairaland. Right from my Childhood days, I got to hear a lot about some kinds of Books, whether for education or non-education use, that I can never ever get out of my head. I was privilege enough to read a few of them and that was why I came up with this enlightening Article of a few Famous and Well-Known Books of all time. Don't miss out! Just take a look at the List below and tell us if you are familiar with one, two or more of these. - Macmillian Books with its various English Textbooks for all Ages: I got to know about this from my early days in Primary School. Their English Comprehension were always exciting and fun to read. In fact, everyone was familiar with all of the Characters from every Comprehension passage. - Lantern Books, such as various Educational and Storybooks for all Ages: I made a Post the other day about the uniqueness of Lantern Books. Here again, I'm making a brief note about how exciting and colourful reading one of these can be. Their Educational Books are filled with eye-catching drawings and methods, making every Child hungry to learn and grasp knowledge. - Emotive Prose such as, The Mills and Boon Book Series: Till date, I've heard Mills and Boons was filled with a lot of obscenity and emotions. I still haven't picked one from its many Copies to take an eyeful, to properly analyse what made this particular Book a well known brand, even after many, many years of Publication. - The Queen Premier Edition Books: If you aren't familiar with this for its repetition of catching two or three lettered words, such as, 'I may go. Up we go', then your Childhood needs to be examined meticulously. I learnt how to spell and read because of my constant dedication to read these as a Child. It surely helped me and helped a lot of others. There's nothing to forget about this one! - Legendary Books: These Books are so legendary, not just because they were written by Literature Legends but because of how far and well they are known. The citation from every of these Books can be seen anywhere, making them forever legendary. They include, The gods are not to blame by Ola Rotimi, Things fall apart by Chinua Achebe, Chike and the River, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare etc.
