It is widely believed in christendom that everybody will be judged on judgement day togehter but we have heard accounts of people who claimed to have seen people in hell. This begs the question: since all dead souls will be judged on judgement day, why are some people already in hell? If they are in hell that means that they had already been judged so what is the essenceof judgement day?. Are they not supposed to be presumed innocent until judgement day? After death, the Bible says cometh judgement where the saints go to heaven and sinners to hell. On the last day, all them in hell would brought out and a final judgement would be given to us all, sinners then would be cast unto lake if fire together with hell itself -Rev 20:13-15 |

I think there are two judgements. The first is happening now(both those living and dead have a place already) And the second on the last day (when all would be exposed and brought to account) |

When a person die, his spirit goes to heaven to be with the Lord if he is a believer... while his spirit goes to Hell if he is an unbeliever... Then immediately after Rapture, all believers in heaven will stand before the judgement seat of CHRIST for rewards and also for the burning of dead works done on earth. This judgement is not about Salvation because a believer is immediately saved when he first believed in CHRIST. Meanwhile, after the 1000 years millennial reign of CHRIST on earth, CHRIST will resurrect all unbelievers in Hell and judge them. This is called the white throne judgement. It is there the unbelievers will know why they are going to be cast into the lake of fire, the reason is that they rejected CHRIST 's death on the cross as a pardon for their sins. After this judgement, which is only for unbelievers, all of them will be cast into the lake of fire to perish for eternity... which is forever and ever... This is no joke, it will be terrible!!! I pray it will never be your portion in Jesus name!!! Mind you, Hell and the Lake of Fire are two different places. Hell is temporary while lake of fire is eternal... God did not prepare that place for man initially, it was only for Satan and his angels. But due to Adam's fall in the garden, sin entered the world. That was why CHRIST has to come and die in our place for us to get God's pardon. And whoever proclaims with his mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, He shall be saved!!! Hallelujah!!!! 3 Likes |

accountable01: The evil concept of hell emanated from humans wanting a superior judge to the injustices done to them but u know my dear, life is cruel and does not always work how we want it to. The faster u forgive people the better for you. Wishing that someone burns in hell ad infinitum just because of 45 years on earth is just unrealistic and cruel. The idea of heaven was born from human greed and insatiable want. The idea of a good person and an equally bad person ending up as nothing more than dust did not appeal well to the ear of the primitive man so heaven was d best option. A God who uses heaven as a reason for doing good has little knowledge of human morality. I have seen lower animals who are kind to each other just from the goodness of their heart. Do u also wish heaven for this lower animals or would they just rotten like all other animals? |

accountable01: There is one thing u have to understand, atheism is not a religion, so there is no central mode of conduct or way of thinking guiding all atheist. Life is not a large court room where we beg for justice from a judge or something of that sort, of course there have been injustice done in d past, but that those not mean there is a supreme judge. I have observed a dog take another dog's meat forcefully, those that mean does dogs would be judged? As I replied to ur prev post, the faster we forgive the better for us because we would be happier. |
