I need help on setting up my eclipse,i have not been able to run any java class,whenever i run as java application,java virtual machine displays A java exception has occurred. I didnt do any setting aside installing the JDK And the Eclipse

The problem may be that eclipse was not properly installed.

Which version of java did you install 32bit or 64 bit, also which version of eclipse did you install, all must co-relate

yes,i did that but still no solution

let me check, am just sure i installed 32bit

Please provide details of the error, it might be your code.

From my experience, if the issue is either your JAVA_HOME or that your Eclipse and Java versions don't match, Eclipse would not even start at all. You would get an error like "Eclipse could not find JRE or JDK in path/to/eclipse/folder/jre/bin....". So please paste the exception here
