Gerrard doesn't play as a striker , he only plays behind the striker. note that he has only played in that position for two seasons now. before then he has played in the central midfield, right and left midfield and he has always been very good anywhere .

I only challenged his opinion that said 'Had gerrard been brazilian,he would have won the fifa player of the year' which I believe is absurd. Both Lampard & Beckham came in second place in 2005 & 1999 respectively.

I said Iniesta  is presently one of the top 5 players in the world and I still hold that opinion. But better than Xavi? Nope.

MOTM award in the champions league final & Euro 2008 player of the tournament just about buttress my point. Xavi was also the most consistent player for barca last season. However as you said earlier, we are all allowed to have differences in our opinion .

I think you are the one making a Mugu of yourself. Over the last two years gerrard has been the slightly better player but overall Kaka is IMO the better player.

Gerrard has never been the best player in world and it is absurd to even suggest that had Gerrard been brazilian he would have won the Fifa player of the year.
