OBASICHIDOZIE: Can't say if they are seriously injured. There were casualties. The bus I boarded got there some few minutes (less than 5) after the tanker exploded. At least, a bus was stopped to pick some of the victims who were alive, but sustained injuries, while there were 2 people laid on the roadside burnt (but not enough for mere seeing to verify their deaths) |

Beside blaming govt for not providing good road, cargo train etc. It's hard time we have more trailer /truck driving school and also yearly refresher course. Most truck drivers in Nigeria never attended truck driving school. Besides most trucks in Nigeria road are outdated, tyre poorly or over inflated.also the need of having back up driver beside motor boy. Before I forget in Netherlands at the outer part of the road there is something they engrave on the road that even if you are driving and feeling drowsy by the time you are about to go off-road the noise from the engraving will wake you up. Why is Nigeria still in infant stage in every thing |

it is time for the govt to start regulating our tanker drivers, the tankers itself and to make our highway roads driverable |
