@Dammy_ray, first of all, I want you to believe that your phone has lots of functions that you can never compare it to all those said nokia. Well go to "settings"-Connectivity-Data Comm-New Account-GPRS DATA-Name (you Can Name it your choice)-Continue-APN( wap.ng.zain.com 4 zain and web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net 4 mtn)- Username( wap 4 zain and web 4 MTN)-Password(wap 4 zain and web 4 Mtn) then click "save".
Go back and locate "Internet Settings" under "Data Comm" click on "Internet Profile"-New Profile- Name(your choice)-Connect using(choose your data setting here and click "select"
Then Go back and click on your new settings to edit: go to Use Proxy (yes)-Proxy address(172.018.254.005 for zain, 010.199.212.002 for MTN)- Port(8080) for both zain and MTN)- User Name(wap 4 zain and web 4 MTN) Password(wap 4 zain and web for MTN) then save.
Click on the your Profile again to edit your home page. Your Profile- Advance settings- change homepage(wap.ng.zain.com for zain and web.mtnonline.com for MTN). then you can move on from there after saving and setting for internet profile. and for JAVA. Gud luck!
