1. CHOOSE THE SUBJECTS THAT
RELATES TO YOUR COURSE :
This is a vital part to comply before you
can become successful in JAMB. And
beware that these subjects must be
your best 4 subjects. Before you take
your jamb exam, make sure that you
chose the right subjects. This is called
subject combination. If you don't
combine the right subjects, you may not
be allowed to study a particular course.

2. SYLLABUS: Don't think that JAMB is
stupid for providing syllabus for the
exam. This syllabus is contained in the
CD given to you by the accredited centre
you registered for the exam. Make sure
you insert the CD in your desktop or
laptop and read the syllabus. This
syllabus contains Subjects , Topics you
need to cover in those subjects and the
objectives . JAMB will set questions
according to these syllabus. So make
sure you read according to the syllabus
given to you. Beware that finishing your
textbooks without the syllabus may
disappoint you during the exam.

3. RECOMMENDED TEXTBOOKS:
There is need to study with the
recommended textbooks given to you
by JAMB in the CD. These textbooks
contains all the topics listed in the
syllabus. This will help you to finish the
topics given to you with ease.

4. GET ACQUAINTED WITH PAST
QUESTIONS AND CBT:
Past Questions and CBT are a list of
questions of JAMB exams in the
previous years. It is important to
practise them because JAMB may not
have time to set questions. They may
go back to the past questions and
choose questions and set them.
CBT is a computerized form of past
questions. It helps candidates to
become familiar with computer gadgets,
answer questions and to increase the
candidate's speed in answering
questions.

However, studiousness can never be
excluded in the journey of successful
exams. Make sure that you are
seriously engaged with your book. Even
if you are in the labour market, make
sure you map out a convenient period
to prepare yourself for the exam. If you
