Fellow Nigerians, pls I want to ask, has the stamp duty direct tax payment as speculated by the CBN implemented? I got an Alert today ( Debit Alert! Acc#: ****** Amt:1,050.00 Desc: STAMP DUTY / JAN-2016 Time:02/02/16ยก6:59) debiting my account for the payment. the bank did not pre informed me at all. I believe most of you must had received such Alert as well. Is this part of the change we glamour for? this must stop because we can not be double taxed. |

I got the alert too yesterday, just wondered so soon, no form of sensitization and full explanation. |
