just wondering, like if it was only the African continent that existed in this world, does that mean we wouldn't know anything about our solar system?

no exploring mars?

it really saddens my heart to see how backwards Africa is.

so how come we haven't picked up from were we left off

Whites/Europe did not invent anything, they developed what they saw in other places. Likewise us, we had some technologies before the whites came, technologies abound all over Africa, those technologies were also borrowed, had it been that we had been left to continue in our ways and our cultures I think we too could have achieved some original things of our own.
But I agreed that we Africans are generally weak mentally, we can easily be deceived and we seem not to have a mind of our own!

I'm just having this sad feeling recently about Africa

watched a documentary on Liberia yesterday, soo sad. The freed slaves returned from slavery abroad and the first thing they did was to enslave their fellow blacks

very warped mentality.

anywho, I just want Africa, Nigeria especially to breakthrough

Well, here's a riddle for you: The Great Pyramid of Egypt was constructed to align precisely with the true North, an impossible feat without a sound knowledge of geometry and astronomy; which still begs the question, 'were Ancient Egyptian builders not Africans?(!)'

You see, the African continent was once a centre of great civilization, as was Mongolia that extended from China to the Caucasus in Russia. That Africa and Mongolia now appear backward does not necessarily mean they were never once great!

It is clear your arguments are based on 21st century, now go look for works based on earlier centuries.

I wonder how many percentage of African kids like this 9jacrib would think their race is backward, has always been backwards and cannot amount to much.

Minds like this, my friends, needs education and transformation. Else like a little black American child abstracts in a study, if we have more African kids think the whites will remain their god because they own everything, then too bad.
