It's a medical specialty. You have to become a doctor first, then specialise as a pathologist. It's interesting. |

Forlarene:we have chemical pathology,histopathology and oral pathology. which one do you prefer?If its the first two,you must bag an MBBS degree from a recognised university in Nigeria.Then,you have to sit for a primary fellowship examination organised by the west African college of surgeons or the Nigerian postgraduate medical college to qualify you for a residency program in any of the accredited medical institutions. subsequently, you write part one and two fellowship exams to qualify as a consultant..Same applies to oral pathology but oral pathology requires a Bachelor of dental surgery degree. |
