Boko Haram War: Troops Rescue Elderly Woman, Children Held Hostage In Borno by Nobody: 9:40pm On Feb 03, 2016
In its ongoing operations to clear Boko Haram terrorists from Borno State, troops of the 103 Battalion on clearance operation along Kawuri in Maimiari village intercepted 17 Boko Haram Terrorists suspects, rescuing an elderly Woman and some Children held hostage by the terrorists.

DAILY POST gathered on Wednesday that, during the clearance operation at Chukun Gudu village, troops engaged Boko Haram terrorists in a battle, where one terrorist was killed and several others capture with gunshot wounds.

Items recovered from the terrorists include two double barrel guns, 4x9mm rounds, 1 solar panel and mechanic tools.

In a similar operation, troops of 151 task force battalion on a patrol along Banki junction to Ngurosoye and Bulamanjari villages destroyed telecom mast hoisted with Boko Haram flag.

Army said, the troops are currently maintaining blocking position against fleeing terrorists in the general area.
