yesterday we were told that efcc has recovered $2trillon from looters, fraudsters and criminals in the last 12 years.
If at the rate of #200 for a dollar then it amounts to #400 trillion. Our budget is at most #7trillion a year.
My question, if truly efcc has recovered #400 trillion in 12 years why can't the government use the recovered money to finance our budget?
Abi when they recovered it, some criminals will steal it again and efcc will recover it and it will be accumulating?
Or is it that efcc is trying to play on our intelligence?
Please someone should answer us.
