Orikinla:Even the free stuff you call free is not free as long as you spend a dime to use it. Stop using such reason to conclude. Free WiFi call yet people subscribe on that wifi. Isn't it still FREE? 2 Likes |

The GSM networks don't pay WhatsApp a dime, WhatsApp is very free because they grant you use of their services without charge, what isn't free is access to their free service. It's like saying that the coke a visitor drank at my house isn't free because they had to pay for the transportation to get to my house. Or saying opera mini isn't free because you pay for internet access. 4 Likes |

If whatsapp was truly free and didn't cost already purchased data bundles and/or credit to use then Nigerian telecom companies would block it completely. Its probably free outside the country but here in Nigeria it isn't. |

what nonsense. the only reason you are s spewing this trash is because when whatsapp was a paid app you enjoyed it for free therefore now that it's a free app you see no difference. payment for an app is totally different from payment to access the internet 1 Like |
